Nokia launches X6 phone

Nokia has brought a new phone — Nokia X6 — in the market, targeting music lovers like its Xpress Music series. The X6 follows Nokia 5800 model with additional features and touchscreen.
The new set can play 35 hours of music; offers 16 GB on-board memory, which can store up to 5,500 tracks; and supports all major digital formats and has a 5 megapixel camera, according to a press statement issued by Nokia. The maximum retail price of the phone in Nepal is Rs 36,150.
Nokia X6 includes all the necessary features to provide quality music in a phone. It has dedicated music keys, support for 3.5 mm connectors and extended battery life for music listening.
“The essence of Nokia has always been connecting people to their passion. We are all about enabling everyone to make the best of every moment. The X6 will enable music lovers to jazz up the entertainment in their lives,” the statement quoted Prem Chand, general manager, Nokia Emerging Asia, as saying.
Other attractive features of X6 are 16:9 widescreen, which is optimized for photos, videos and browsing; and offers easy access to social networking. There are three embedded games and direct access from home screen to download more games and applications from Ovi Store.
