HTC Incredible Specs Revealed
April 9th, 2010 by admin in HTC
After much debate and discussion, the HTC Incredible’s specs have finally been confirmed, via the phone’s user manual which leaked early. While the phone is set to be released on April 29th, the folks at Phandroid have gotten the manual early and we’ve learned all we could ever want to know about the phone, like how to turn it on and off.
As rumored, the device will be carrying a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Estimations of the screen size from pictures of the device had it pegged somewhere between 3.5 and 4.0 inches, and the real phone splits the middle with it’s 3.7-inch OLED screen. It will have 576MB of RAM and 512MB of Flash storage. I’ll also come with an 8-megapixel camera.
It will be running Android 2.1 (of course), with HTC’s Sense UI (of course). Now that the stats are all in the open, the HTC Incredible looks like it could be one of the better Android devices this year – although it won’t have the huge screen like the HTC Evo 4G or the insane graphics power like the Samsung Galaxy S.
Some rumors had pegged the Incredible at having something like 16GB of flash memory (unfortunately not true), but still looks like a solid device. Are you interested in getting such a phone? It’s being compared to the Nexus One, pretty heavily.
Nothing yet on pricing for the device. However, it’s coming to Verizon customers on April 29th.
