Motorola GRASP QWERTY phone featuring eco-friendly cover
July 31st, 2010 by admin in Motorola
Motorola has recently updated its website to show a new eco-friendly messaging phone that’s been added to its lineup, the GRASP. The block-styled handset supports CDMA networks, and would be theoretically compatible with Verizon, Sprint, or smaller carriers like MetroPCS (thanks to its AWS band support). The Grasp is a 3G EV-DO device with a full QWERTY keyboard, and it weighs 105g (3.7oz) and measures in at 94 x 64 x 13mm (3.7 x 2.4 x 0.5in).
The GRASP boasts a 2.2-inch display screen that sits just above its QWERTY keyboard and comes equipped with a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom that will allow users to immediately share their photos or videos with friends and family. A regular MP3 media player is also on-board as well as a 3.5mm headset jack. For those that prefer to listen without wires, the GRASP also supports Bluetooth stereo headsets. The Grasp’s 950mAh Li-Ion battery should be good for up to 5.3 hours of talk time or up to 17.9 days of standby time. Mobile users should enjoy the ability to easily browse the web, pick up email, instant message friends, and use GPS to navigate to the nearest gas station from the GRASP.
The Motorola GRASP is a green product featuring BFR and PVC free housing that is 100% recyclable. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced at this time.
