Motorola Cliq 2 has been spotted

Motorola’s upcoming Cliq 2 handset for T-Mobile has been spotted today in a leak that suggests it will be a major upgrade. A source for Cellphone Signal said the Cliq 2, sometimes called “Begonia,” will be a high-end Android phone with a five-megapixel camera and possible calling over its 802.11n Wi-Fi. HTC Thunderbolt: First Verizon 4G LTE phone

Samsung making 4G Android phone for Verizon

Samsung will join HTC in having one of the first 4G phones on Verizon’s network, a leak uncovered today. The SCH-i520 superficially resembles a Galaxy S phone and still uses Android 2.2, but has the requisite LTE support to get 4G access. A front camera is also new in the Gizmodo tip and would borrow loosely from the Nexus S as a result.

Dell Venue Android 2.2 phone is announced

The younger sibling of the Windows Phone 7 Dell Venue Pro, the Dell Venue has been announced and the Android OS isn’t the only change. The announcement was done by the Korean carrier KT, and while the remake was expected, a lot of people weren’t expecting for the external keyboard to be removed. It’s not that the virtual keyboard is all you can now use for typing, but our excitement goes down as the design doesn’t look that classy, and the attraction of a large keyboard-device is lost.

Samsung reveals SCH-r710 Suede feature phone for Cricket

Today Samsung announced its latest feature phone, the SCH-r710 Suede, a device that is being launched by Cricket in January 2011.
The Suede offers a 3-inch touchscreen display with a virtual QWERTY keyboard, instant access to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and an HTML web browser. Other features include a 3MP camera and 125MB of internal memory. Users can also add microSD cards up to 16GB in capacity. It’s the first phone to support Cricket’s new Muve Music plan, which provides unlimited music downloads, text messages, minutes, and web surfing, in a $55 monthly package deal.
