Samsung Wave II (S8530) released in India

Around three months ago, Samsung launched their smartphone called Wave II all over the world. Now their phone has finally reache Indian shores and we are more than happy to give you in-depth details of Wave II.

To start off with, the phone runs on Samsung’s own proprietary Operating System Bada with a TouchWiz User Interface v 3.0 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz ARM Cortex processor, which looks capable enough for the phone to handle multitasking. Other features are as follows:
- 3.7-inch Super Clear LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with a 480 x 800 resolution
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, A-GPS
- Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP
- 5 Megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash
- Memory expandable up to 32 GB
- Stereo FM Radio with RDS
- 3.5 mm audio jack
Apart from these features, Wave II’s camera is capable of recording video at 720p. The smartphone also has an Accelerometer and a Proximity Sensor. The Wave II supports quite some media formats including MP3, WAV, H.264 and MKV file formats. All in all, it has good media playback capabilities.
