ZTE launches Blade droid-phone

China-based ZTE Corp plans a big push into the smartphone market in 2011. And its strategy largely centers around Google’s mobile operating system Android.
The company also plans to launch devices costing as little as $100 which can create a big buzz in cost-driven markets such as India.
At the ongoing Mobile WOrld Congress in Barcelona, Spain, ZTE unveiled its latest phone Skate. This Android smartphone comes with a large 4.3-inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera. When launched, Skate will be a successor to ZTE’s existing model Light.
