New HTC Thunderbolt announced on the Verizon

Probably the worst-kept secret phone of CES, the HTC Thunderbolt is finally official on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. I got a chance to play with the HTC Thunderbolt on the showfloor and for a bit longer at an HTC gathering at In-and-Out (yes, that In-and-Out). There have been an overwhelming number of exciting phones at CES, but the Thunderbolt is one of my favorites.

HTC EVO Shift 4G Shows Up At Amazon

Amazon is usually pretty good about not breaking their retail listing street dates early, as opposed to little websites in Europe or Southeast Asia or some place. But, this time, the big guy messed. Amazon has posted early the listing for the HTC EVO Shift 4G, the anticipated upcoming 4G Android phone from the Sprint. However, there isn’t much there on the phone, and some information seems to be copy and pasted from the first HTC EVO 4G.

First information on new HTC Knight

A new smartphone from HTC has been spotted on an online forum, sparking rumours that it will be called the Knight and that it will be running the very latest version of Android when it first makes an appearance.

There are virtually no specs available to help flesh out the thin details about the HTC Knight, but a leaked picture appears to show a large touchscreen interface and the logo of US network provider Sprint, which suggests that this is moving away from the development stage and being prepped for launch across the pond.

HTC, Samsung and LG Windows Phone 7 headsets will be available on AT&T at November 8th

AT&T confirmed that its Windows Phone 7 mobile phones will be ready to the customers the beginning from 8th of November. Arriving first is the HTC Surround and the Samsung Focus, both of which will debut in tandem on November 8th. This Windows phone duo will be available from AT&T company-owned stores and online for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The LG Quantum is next to arrive and the QWERTY-packing handset will debut in the days after the big 11/8 Windows Phone fiesta.

New HTC “Knight” Android Phone

According to the source, HTC will soon out yet another Android smartphone, to be called HTC Knight, which will apparently be heading to Sprint. The smartphone features a 3.7-inch (touch) screen, a slide-out QWERTY and a micro-USB port just like on the EVO 4G, also carrying a similar look.
