LG Optimus Black With NOVA Display Release Date Announced

After weeks of rumors and “maybes” that were wondering around, LG took advantage of the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) on January 5th to make the official announcement regarding the upcoming LG Optimus Black. After reviewing the phone and its specs, it looks like LG have gone all the way, in order to deliver a high-end, one of a kind smart-phone, which should be able to compete head to head with other similar devices, such as the iPhone 4G (whose white version we’re still expecting) , or the Samsung Galaxy S (now also available in Germany).

LG B phone released

There’s a new entry from LG on the way, and in addition to having the slimmest name on the market, it’ll also have the slimmest form factor.
The “B” was outed on Android fansite Phandroid and then later, mistakenly, confirmed by LG on Twitter. That Twitter post was later deleted.

Verizone announces new LG Octane VN530 phone

Verizon Wireless has announced the launch of new LG Octane VN530 phone. The LG Octane is a curious mix between the LG Cosmos and the LG enV Touch. It features a small display and an alphanumeric keyboard on the outside, and a larger screen plus a full QWERTY keyboard on the inside.

T-Mobile launches LG Optimus T next week

It is known that T-Mobile will be launching the Android-powered LG Optimus T on November 3rd for a $30 with two-year contract.
Sprint’s nearly identical version — the LG Optimus S — will be sold for $49.99 with two-year contract. T-Mobile’s plan to lowball Sprint’s price for practically the same smartphone (just a slightly different keyboard layout differentiates the two models) might be a good move. Android smartphones are moving quickly to break into the feature phone price range and who really wants a feature phone when they can get in on all the Android Market app and media goodness for the same price?
