HTC, Samsung and LG Windows Phone 7 headsets will be available on AT&T at November 8th

AT&T confirmed that its Windows Phone 7 mobile phones will be ready to the customers the beginning from 8th of November. Arriving first is the HTC Surround and the Samsung Focus, both of which will debut in tandem on November 8th. This Windows phone duo will be available from AT&T company-owned stores and online for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The LG Quantum is next to arrive and the QWERTY-packing handset will debut in the days after the big 11/8 Windows Phone fiesta.

LG Town GT350 social phone now available in the United Kingdom

Orange UK has made available the first product in LG’s new Town series of phones that will have a focus on social networking, the Town GT350.
The phone has a special user interface with a live social network feed that makes it easy to stay in quick-contact with friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Orkut. The Town GT350 offers a large slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a 2 megapixel camera, and a thin 15.9mm (0.62in) form factor. The new handset also features 56MB of internal storage memory as well as microSD card support.

LG GW910 Optimus 7 Specifications and Release Date Announced

After much of hype and leaks throughout the last year at IFA, LG has finally come forward and announced their new upcoming mobile. LG has code named their phone LG GW910 Optimus 7 It is their first phone to run on much hyped Windows 7. Apparently LG and Microsoft are going to be long term business partners in this aspect of business and we can expect to see a lot more improvement in their products and services on the course of the time they go hand in hand.
We can assume, this is an early attempt by software giant Microsoft to come up with something promising and competitive enough, they are asserting enough energies and money over their technology as their previous attempts at getting into mobile phones industry had been thrashed. Earlier, when phone was finally displayed in a conference at Berlin, it was highly appreciated for its sleek look and high end features. Company has spoken about most of its features, however, we are still unaware of phone’s dimensions and actual weight. All these missing specs along with battery talk time and stand by time, shall eventually be revealed in couple of days time.
Optimus 7 Specifications
Some of most important details on features of this phone has been made public. Most importantly its a first Windows 7 handset by LG. Optimus 7, previously known as LG Panther, which posses DLNA capabilities, is one of its kind, it comes with 720 pixel video, which you can plug into your Tv’ sets and watch streaming. Other specifications include its 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G (HSDPA) capability, which doesn’t make it unique, but lets it compete in this cut throat competition of new mobile phones. GW910 is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen set with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and has 3.5 inches display.
This smartphone is loaded with nice proximity sensor, which can auto turn-off the device, this set with QWERTY keyboard makes it favorable to masses, as it is one of the better keypad solution out there. For now, this phone is set to be released in only Black color, Company might publish phones in other colors at some later time of their launch. 5 megapixel camera, which has an auto-focus and LED flash doesn’t make it unique, but its still a robust technology, which is loved by every one. Finally the release date, phone is set to be released in the fourth quarter of year 2010, however, there is no exact date announced yet, bu we can expect it to be released a little before Christmas and holiday season, so that the sales pick up with the trend.
LG Optimus GT 540 Android phone now in India

The Korean Company, LG is all geared up to launch its second Android based phone, LG Optimus GT540. Owners can upgrade Android version 1.6 to 2.1 version. The device is high powered multimedia handset offering features like social networks with a 3 inch large touch screen with 320 x 480 pixels.
For entertainment, LG GT540 sports a media player which enables users to watch DivX and Xvid videos directly.
