Samsung Introduces Nori F (SHW-A200) in South Korea
September 6th, 2010 by admin in samsung
Even though not longer than one month ago, Samsung launched the original Nori (SHW-A220) in South Korea, the Korean company decided to continue the lineup with a new Nori F mobile phone, which was just announced.
Specifically designed for Asia, Samsung Nori F (SHW-A200), comes in four flashy colors: Bleu Marin, Red, Orange and Light Blue.
If the original Nori was a bar feature-phone, the new Nori F has a clamshell form factor and comes with unique feature, LED illumination. Further, users will be able to customize this LED illumination on the front side of the phone as they see fit.
If you don’t remember Samsung Nori also came with something unique, as users could customize the phone with eight different characters adhesive films that helped creating a distinct identity.
The newly launched Samsung Nori F comes with a 2.8-inches WQVGA display (240×400 pixels resolution), 3G connectivity, T-DMB compatibility, Gyro sensor, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support.
It also sports a 3.0- megapixel camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.
The phone includes microSD card slot for memory expansion and supports up to 16 GB memory cards. Nori F is powered by a 880mAh battery, but there’s no info regarding its life expectancy yet.
Samsung Nori F is not one of the ‘brightness’ phones on the Korean market, unless we’re talking literally, which is true, thanks to its LED illumination feature.
Targeting youngsters, Nori F will probably make enough victims through teenagers who are looking to impress by showing off their phone.
Samsung Nori F should be available soon through all three major Korean carriers, SKT, LG U+ and KT.
The phone will be cheaper than the original Nori (600,000 won, approx. $511), and will be available for “only” 500,000 won (approx. $426). This phone would have no chance in Europe or overseas at this price.

Released by Sprint and has many of its elements inspired by the Galaxy S, the Epic 4Ghas AMOLED touch screen 4-inch, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and the ability to record video in HD and VGA front camera for video conferences.Samsung Epic 4G is a great phone.

The smartphone will come with Android 2.1, but it is expected to upgrade to version 2.2. Epic 4G is expected to hit stores in the coming months and its price is still unknown. Quanto Misterio Samsung!
With the new Samsung Epic 4G,Samsung launches in the coming days a new Android smartphone on the U.S. market. It is a Samsung S-Galaxy variant for the U.S. provider Sprint. Since it is one of the few Android smartphone with a physical keyboard, but it’s at least worth a look. Whether it is also offered on other markets, is uncertain. Some functions such as WiMax are intended only for the U.S. market and technically it is otherwise the Samsung S Galaxy already very similar. Big difference is the physical keyboard
New Samsung YP-MB2 Galaxy Android PMP pictures available
August 14th, 2010 by admin in samsung
The Samsung YP-MB2 may not be the only phone-sized portable media player running Google Android on the horizon anymore. But this iPod touch competitor will always have a special place in our hearts… because it just looks so darn much like an iPod touch.

The YP-MB2 also happens to have some pretty awesome specs including a 1GHz processor and 4 inch Super AMOLED display. Unlike the iPod touch, it also supports Bluetooth and has a camera. Oh yeah, and it runs Google Android 2.1.
Samsung still hasn’t officially announced the YP-MB2 yet, but we’ve seen plenty of evidence that it’s coming to market soon.
Now Samsung Hub has managed to track down the first real-world photos of the portable media player. It looks pretty slick, with directional pad of some sort at the bottom as well as back and menu keys. There’s a bit of chrome around the edges, and really, the whole thing just looks an awful lot like an iPod touch — until you turn it over and see the camera and white cover on the back.
Korean Corby: Samsung SHW-A250
August 14th, 2010 by admin in samsung
Samsung is out with another Korea-only device marked as SHW-A250. The all-touchscreen phone resembles the original Corby product with such specs as 2.8-inch touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, media player and a microSD memory card slot. In addition, there are the usual country-specific features such as SOS function, subway maps as well as T-DMB mobile TV receiver.
Two of Korea’s leading mobile operators, SK Telecom and KT, will both sell the A250. SKT will offer it in black or white, while KT will also sell brown and pink versions. The price is 500,000 won, which is about $423, and I guess that’s the contract-free price.
Again, this isn’t something you could get if you’re living in the Western part of the world (which probably is the case according to our stats) and it’s also not something you need. If you like how the Samsung A250 sounds, grab the original Corby phone – it’s pretty much the same device without the mentioned subway maps and mobile TV, which you can’t use anyways…
