Music phone Sony Ericsson Zylo – Now in India

Sony Ericsson India has announced the launch of Sony Zylo music phone in India. This phone has capabilities that could be mesmerizing for music lovers. It can be said that this is a walkman that doubles as a mobile phone.
It has a trackID feature that tracks the ID of songs being played on the radio. It is very high on social networking content and has one touch access to popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Being a music phone it comes with high capabilities for music. It includes high definition FLAC format and comes with a premium headset. It also carries YouTube inbuilt. Sony Ericsson Satio Now Available in USA

The Sony Ericsson Satio, a phone that was originally announced more than a year ago, is finally available in the United States. The Symbian phone is now on sale at Sony Style stores, both brick and mortar and online, for $650. The phone features a 12.1 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and a 3.5-inch, 640 by 360 pixel screen, among other high-end features.
Sony Ericsson launches Spiro phone

Today Sony Ericsson announced the Spiro with Walkman feature phone. As the name implies, the phone runs the Sony Walkman media player functionality to users.
The 92mm x 48mm x 16.75mm (3.6in x 1.88in x 0.65in) Spiro comes equipped with the Walkman music player, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth support, the Obigo Q7 web browser, and a 2.2-inch 320 x 240 pixel display. It also supports microSD cards up to 16GB in size.
The Spiro will be available in contrast black, sunset pink, spring green, and stealth black and is expected to be land on retail shelves in select markets in the third quarter of 2010. Sony Ericsson did not provide carrier or pricing details.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Launched

Sony Ericson’s new technology driven phone Xperia X10 was recently captured by the INQUIRER during its launch in London city. Its interface is powered by Google OS and the camera provides a resolution of 8.1 megapixels. It carries a huge flashy screen and has also been credited of having the highest ever resolution camera.
The handset drives its functioning speed from the 1Ghz Snapdragon processor equipped in it, the processor has been reported to be operating on the Android ‘Donut’ 1.6 version. It will surely give a tough time to HTC’s Sense and Motorola’s MotoBlur with its added social networking features installed in the operating system.
Various applications have been detailed in a feature in The Timescape which helped the users go more close to learning about the phone in terms of text messages, emails, instant messaging, tweets and Facebook. Sony Ericsson Shows Elm and Hazel

Sony Ericsson has shown off two new phones, called the “Elm” and the “Hazel”, both of which are claimed to be more environmentally friendly than their other handsets.
“The Sony Ericsson Elm and the Sony Ericsson Hazel phones offer consumers a green choice without compromising on features or fun. These mobile phones also give consumers a better voice quality experience, with Noise Shield, Clear Voice and Intelligent Volume Adaptation. Both phones offer an easy-to-use social networking experience featuring the Widget Manager application, which allows users access to their social networking page via the stand-by screen and quickly switch between different social networks.” said Fortunй Alexander, Global Marketing Director at Sony Ericsson.
Both handsets are fairly generic models, with a 5.0 megapixel autofocus camera, over the air backup service and support for A-GPS mapping and navigation services.
Both support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA 2100/900. The Sony Ericsson Elm phone will be available from Q1 2010. The Sony Ericsson Hazel will be available from Q2 2010.
Sony Ericsson C905 would be a 8.1-Megapixel Cybershot Phone?

According to the Unofficial Sony Ericsson blog, the upcoming C905 phone will be the flagship Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot phone. Here’s why it’s so good. There’s a 8.1-megapixel camera with “auto focus, face recognition, a new feature called Smart Contrast, image stabilization, BestPic, red-eye reduction, xenon flash as well as photoflash for both photos and videos.” There’s also location tagging with GPS, an accelerometer, 2.4-inch QVGA display, TV-out, Wi-Fi, DLNA support, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 transfers. Yeah, sounds pretty insane. We’ll see if this one turns out to be true and whether they can fit all of this tech into that small body.
AT&T Launches Sony Ericsson Z750a with 3G

AT&T has officially launched the Sony Ericsson Z750a clamshell cellphone in grey, purple, and pink today. The Z750a is Sony Ericsson’s first handset to support dual-band WCDMA (850/1900MHz) on AT&T’s high-speed 3G network. This clamshell features a smooth mirror finish with a hidden OLED display on the outside. Inside there is a 2.2″ QVGA display capable of 262k colors.
The Sony Ericsson Z750a features a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, and a memory stick micro (M2) card slot allows for plenty of storage expansion. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support for stereo headsets is also on board, in addition to an FM radio tuner and speakerphone. The Z750a’s web browser supports full HTML web pages, which should make it easy to really enjoy that HSDPA data connection, as well.
The Sony Ericsson Z750a is available now from AT&T Wireless, priced at $49.99 with a 2-year commitment and mail-in rebate.
